Camera 6 is our slider camera, located on the veranda below the sound booth. This camera sits on a Dana Dolly on a 21′ slider track. This camera is equipped with a Fujinon wide angle zoom-through lens adaptor with rear controls for servo-assisted zoom and manual focus.
The rear focus and zoom controls are the same as the controls on Cameras 1 and 7. Because of the wide-angle lens this camera has a very specific and limited use in our service. On occasion, Camera 6 may execute a zoom shot of a frontline singer at the Director’s discretion. The Director will tell you when and where to execute your dolly moves based on the lighting and music. No freelancing with this camera.
This camera is also used as a wide shot for transitions between songs and at the end of music sets.
